# tmux-ide 2.9.15

> Managed browser navigation, keyboard workspace controls and compact native chrome.

`2.9.15` accompanies native macOS alpha `0.1.10`, build `2026102801`.
The CLI/daemon and native app remain separate installations. Install links are
updated after the matching release assets are published.

## Managed browser

`tmux-ide open https://example.com` discovers the terminal browser bundled with
the standard managed Mac app installation. An explicit
`TMUX_IDE_TERMINAL_BROWSER_BIN` still takes precedence; an installed browser on
PATH remains a fallback. Native browser files are not part of the npm package.

The native pane header provides back, forward and reload/stop. Use Command-L to
edit the URL and Command-R to reload. Each command validates the current pane,
browser instance, tab and state revision. The optional upstream browser `action`
automation helper is not bundled and is not needed for native controls.

## Workspace controls

Window tabs now share the top bar. Sidebar text and pane padding are smaller.
Drag the gutter to resize panes. Window transitions briefly retain the previous
frame while the new selection is verified; retained frames never authorize input.

Use Command-T for a new terminal window, Command-D to split right,
Command-Shift-D to split down, Command-W for close confirmation and
Command-Shift-\[ / ] to switch windows. Command-Option-Arrow focuses a pane;
Command-Shift-Enter expands or restores it.

## Qualification

The signed Mac candidate passed Apple notarization, Gatekeeper, archive
verification and isolated install/upgrade/rollback checks. Native navigation,
zoom/restore, divider dragging and keyboard window/split controls were exercised
on the release Mac. A fresh second-Mac check remains outstanding. A prior browser
startup waited on Keychain authorization; a subsequent fresh run loaded without
credential changes or disabling encryption.

Update the CLI/daemon and [native app](/docs/native-alpha) separately. Existing
tmux sessions are preserved. No measured GUI/TUI performance-parity claim is made.
