# tmux-ide 2.9.10

> Improve native GUI typing over SSH.

`2.9.10` prepares compatibility for native macOS alpha `0.1.6`, distributed
separately, which improves typing over SSH.
The native app can send subsequent terminal input while earlier input is still
in flight, reducing pauses caused by waiting on each request.

## Updating

Update the CLI and its running daemon. For the typing improvement, install
native alpha `0.1.6` when it is available from the
[native release page](/docs/native-alpha). The CLI and native app are separate
installations; publishing this CLI release does not publish the native app, and
updating the CLI alone does not update the native input handling.
Existing tmux sessions and the programs in their panes are preserved.
